Ceramic small wall plate, handmade by ceramic artist Ralica Marinova, created as a decorative art object designed to be displayed on the wall or styled as a tabletop accent.
This unique ceramic plate is entirely handcrafted using slab-building techniques, without a pottery wheel. Each piece is shaped, refined, and finished by hand, resulting in subtle irregularities that highlight the authenticity and character of handmade ceramic art.
The plate features a vibrant, expressive color composition with bright glazes that develop naturally during kiln firing. The glaze movement and color transitions are unique to each piece, making every plate truly one of a kind.
The exterior surface is fully hand-textured with embossed geometric motifs inspired by nature. Engobe is rubbed into the relief to enhance depth and contrast, and the piece is finished with a soft satin matte glaze that emphasizes the tactile quality of the surface.
Decorative & Functional
While designed primarily as a ceramic wall plate, this piece can also be styled as:
• a small fruit or serving dish
• a sculptural tabletop accent
• a candle holder or decorative object
It fits naturally into modern interiors, creative kitchens, and curated living spaces, adding warmth and artistic presence.

• fine white clay
• slab-built and textured by hand
• hand-glazed with high-quality ceramic glazes
• fired twice at 940°C and 1080°C
