Godsnorth is a handmade wood carving workshop creating mythology-inspired wooden statues and sculptures. We specialize in Norse, Viking, Slavic, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Aztec, and other ancient mythological figures designed for collectors, altar decor, and symbolic interior spaces.

What materials are your statues made from?

Our statues are carved from ash tree, a durable hardwood known for strength, stability, and excellent carving properties. In Norse tradition, ash wood is associated with Yggdrasil, the World Tree, symbolizing connection between worlds, resilience, and spiritual depth.

Are your statues handmade or mass-produced?

All pieces are individually handmade and hand-finished. We do not use mass production. Each sculpture is unique due to natural wood grain and traditional carving techniques.

Our work is inspired by Norse mythology, Viking culture, Slavic pagan traditions, Egyptian gods, Mesopotamian deities, Aztec symbolism, and dark mythological archetypes. Each piece is an artistic interpretation and symbolic artwork, not a religious object.

Skadi is a frosty giantess, the patroness of hunting. Her attributes are bow and skis. She was probably originally a fertility gоddеss in her winter form. Sкаdі represents winter and ice, she is the wife of Njord.
