Seller's description

Specifications

May include: A black and white print of a floral design with pink, orange, and yellow accents. The print features a variety of flowers and leaves, creating a whimsical and organic pattern.

An original abstract floral collagraph print, that has been printed in a deep steel blue and the chine colle technique used to add highlights, designed to emulate autumnal falling leaves in warm hues of red, yellow ochre, soft pink and orange.

Chine Colle is a technique where fine tissue paper is embedded into a print.
Glue is added to the back of cut pieces of fine tissue paper, these are then laid onto the inked plate. Dampened paper is then placed on top of the plate and this is then passed once through an etching press. This embeds the tissue into the print giving highlights of colour.

Printed on 300gsm Cream Stonehenge paper.

This is one of an edition of 3 prints which all use different tissue colours making each one a unique piece of handcrafted art.
