Handmade, deep shadow box display frame made of sustainable wood and finished in a lovely dark grey woodgrain. This 3D frame is ideal for your next crafting project. Frame your creations to display or sell to others in a deep box frame made in England. You can frame models, clay figures, glass work, baby and family hand casts, taxidermy, feathers, 3D art, medals, keepsakes and so much more!

Simply choose your required size and insert colour from the options. Please note we cannot make sizes any larger than listed and we are not offering a bespoke service for one-off orders. Hopefully you can find a frame size below that will suit your requirements.

We offer a range of insert colour options - the mount is the thick card at the front of the frame and the backing card at the back (where your objects are placed on).

Your frame will be sent in kit form with easy to follow assembly instructions and fixings for hanging. You can choose to hang the frame in portrait or landscape layout when you assemble the frame.

The depth of the standard shadow box is 1.75"/46mm. Deeper boxing of 2.75"/70mm, or 3.5"/92mm is also available, please refer to the variations in the drop down menu. The depth is created by adding a wooden 'box', made from natural pine, at the back of the frame. You can stain or paint the pine, or leave it in its natural wood finish.

Frames are made with glass fronts upto and including size 12x12". 11x15" and up are made with acrylic/styrene fronts - please be rest assured that these look as good as glass and keep the frame safe and lightweight for wall hanging.

How to fix your items to the backing card of the frame? There are a number of options (none of which we supply. we are supplying you with the frame and fixings only), here are some helpful suggestions for you: glue (permanent and semi-permanent), glue 'dots' (these are great and are also available in permanent and semi-permanent options), double-sided sticky velcro (can be bought in tape or dot/circle form), tacks (the backing card is 1.2mm thick and behind that there is a 2mm thick MDF board - so you can tack/nail your item into place if needed).
