All Epiclog Skulls are carved by hand, one-of-a-kind. Skulls are mid-fire stoneware, glazed and painted.
I am a Nashville-based sculptor and Epiclog Island is a collaborative project with my kids (ages 10, 8 and 6). It started a few years ago as a fun way to fantasize building our own theme park. Since then, it has grown into an elaborate blueprint to create a narrative-based, immersive artistic experience.
The Epiclog Island storyline follows a variety of anthropomorphic beasts through intertwined adventures. At the center of each storyline is a collection of carved skulls.
To make Epiclog Island more than an idea, we have started creating one-of-a-kind ceramic skull sculptures. The Epiclog Island Skulls allow us share our adventure with others and will serve as a kind of fundraiser towards making our idea a reality. Get more information at:
