18th Century Dress, Rococo Dress, Silk Marie Antoinette Dress
The romance of 18th century fashion is clearly shown in this purple silk gown. It was designer made in the 1980s by costume designer Ray Buchanan.
The base of the dress is purple dupion silk with multiple layers of lace ruffles at the sleeves. The front has five bows in the classic Marie Antoinette style.
The center back has a zipper closure. Top skirt is ruched for fullness, and the underskirt has multiple drawstring waist for height adjustability.
