This stunning watercolor of a majestic lion is a close up portrait of his head created from a day at our local zoo. It is sketched loosely in pencil and then washes of direct watercolor applied over. This wildlife portrait shows this lion staring off into the distance as if watching his prey.

This is an original piece of artwork, done with pen and ink and watercolor, hand drawn and painted. It is a one of a kind work of art; it is not a print.
