Things you should know:

As with all wood, it is a beautiful product of nature and there may be tool marks and naturally occurring colors, grain and shaping from age. While we engrave all our pieces at the same power, some engrave lighter others. All hammers are new, but are real hammers made of forged metal which may not look perfect without tool and processing marks. The head is made by a process called hot forging. A length of steel bar is heated to about 2,200-2,350° F (1,200-1,300° C) and then die cut in the shape of the hammer head. Once cut, the hammer head is heat treated to harden the steel. Our hammers are made to smash things, they are not prop hammers.
Barn tin is reclaimed—that means it is NOT NEW. It is reclaimed off of barns older than you. There is no way to know what all the tin has on it or has been around in that time. The tin has been weathered, nailed, painted, licked by animals and possibly ugly farmers. We do power wash it but it’s the real deal.
Returns are not accepted on personalized items. Hammers will be engraved exactly as the personalization is written.
