Multi-Layer Rustic Window Sill Shelf for Succulents, Wandering Jew, Herbs, and Other Plants

Rustic window shelf to save your succulents, herbs, and other precious plants during the cold seasons, or to enjoy them indoors all year round. You may also use it to start seedlings early in the Spring. It is a perfect solution for your plants to stay cozy while obtaining sufficient amount of the important ingredient for photosynthesis, the light.

The shelf is built with naturally rot-resistant cedar and waterproof wood glue. There are two grooves in each shelf board to contain small amount of drain water and dirt from the pots. The surface is torched (wood burning/shou sugi ban) and then coated with sealant for durability and ease of cleaning.

Shelf depth defaults to 4.25"; customizable upon request (up to 5"). Width (default to 1/4" less than the upper limit in any selected WIDTH), number of layers, and vertical spacing (up to 14" without additional charge) between layers are all customizable. The default spacing is 10" for the 2-layer and 3-layer versions, as well as the bottom two spacings in the 4-layer and 5-layer versions. The default value is 8" for the upper spacings in 4-layer and 5-layer versions.

Before placing order, please provide a photo of your window. I will add marks to the photo to help you take a few measurements. Most customization requests do not result in a price change. So feel free to contact me and we can work together to make a shelf best fit your window and needs.

Q1. Super interested in a customized shelf for my windowsills. :) Should I select one of the default sizes for now to start an order? Or is there another way to order a customized size?
A1. Let's start with a photo of your window. We can discuss and finalize the details, then you can select one from the list to order.

Q2: I couldn't find any instruction in the package. Could you send a copy?
A2: A PDF file of instructions is sent via Etsy message when the shelf is shipped. If necessary, I am more than happy to email you a copy.
