Things to know about container candles:
Candles have memory! The first time you light it, please let it burn until the entire top layer is melted. If you don’t, they will remember where they burned to the last time, and they will never burn more than that, they will just burn down the middle of the candle.
Never leave candles unattended! Container candles are safer than most, because they are contained, but please don’t leave open flames unattended, ever!
Trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each use. This will keep the flame from getting too large and burning the candle too fast.
For best scent throw, allow your candle to burn for at least a half hour. It will take from half an hour to an hour to fill a medium sized room.
Allow your candle to extinguish completely before putting its lid back on, if you choose to keep the lid.
Last but not least, never burn any candle until it is all the way burned up, to avoid burning the bottom part of the wick and container. Discard when there is 1/8 to 1/4 inch left.
