How do I get an accurate head measurement to ensure a hat will fit?

The best way to measure your head is to go across your forehead and just above your ears. You want to measure around the largest part of the head.

What is your return policy?

I accept returns. Please contact me before sending an item back. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. There is a 50% restocking fee for returns on custom made items. There is a 25% restocking fee for costume items purchased during September and October and returned after Halloween. Refunds will be issued to the account which made the purchase.

Which countries do you ship to?

I am currently only shipping to the US. Please contact me about the possibility of shipping elsewhere. It is the buyer's responsibility to find out about any fees, import taxes, or regulations regarding importing (this especially applies to feathers). I do not know the laws or import fees for each county and can't be held responsible for policies set by your government.

How long will it take orders to arrive?

Once an item ships, USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail usually takes two to five days to arrive. International shipping varies by destination, with shipments to some counties taking two to three weeks to arrive. Sometimes packages are held at local post offices and customers must pick them up in person and pay an import tax. This varies by country. Sometimes your post office notifies you and sometimes they don't. It is a good idea to track the package yourself. I have no control over this and can't help if your post office holds your package or charges a fee.

Does shipping include insurance?

USPS Ground Advantage and Priority Mail include insurance. I am not responsible for lost packages once they have been accepted by the US Postal Service.

This hat is made out of a soft light pink wool/rayon felt. It has a double-thick unwired brim which can be adjusted any way you desire. Grosgrain ribbons tie under the chin to hold it in place. Choose a plain hat or one decorated with a ribbon bow, felt flower, or woolen stars. Wool Felt is a blend of 35% wool and 65% rayon. It’s a very soft, flexible fabric which makes a lightweight, comfortable hat.

This hat is 9”-11" tall and 12"-13" wide.

This hat comes in four sizes, Baby, Toddler, Little Kid, and Big Kid.
Sizing is as follows: Baby fits heads around 16”-17”, Toddler fits heads around 17”-18", Little Kid fits heads around 18”-19”, and Big Kid fits heads around 19"-20”.

My great granddaughter wanted to be a "pink witch this year, but insisted she did NOT want to be Glinda! I wasn't sure what made a pink dressed witch a non Glinda and only thing I could figure out was the hat! I sent this hat with a pink gown. She has worn this hat every day since so I guess that was on the mark! She likes the fact it has a chin tie to keep it on while she plays and asks for different adjustments depending on the day (make it tight today, Mommy or make it loose today). Hat will probably be ten shades dirtier by Halloween, but that's OK.
