The Field Holster is a traditional and simple designed holster that everyone's father or grandfather carried on their belt while out in the woods. A wide western style belt loop for stable carry and safety strap for secure carry.

Made for a Ruger New Model Blackhawk 4.62 barrel Right Hand, natural oil

Holster is made from 9/10oz vegetable tanned leather, heavy nylon bonded thread, full length welted seam, black metal hardware, plastic anti-rub on inside of male snap, three coats of olive oil and clear resolene finish.

All my holsters are made from Full-Grain Hermann Oak vegetable tanned leather and is tanned in the U.S.A. Full-grain leather is the toughest kind of leather and has the most character. Full-grain leather has not had the top layer sanded off and will be marked with the scratches or other imperfections that result from wear and tear from the animal’s activity. Do not be surprised to see a few scratch marks or scars on your holster. It is the toughest leather I can buy that will make long-lasting quality products.

BARREL MEASUREMENT- Please make sure you have the correct barrel length. Measure from the face on the cylinder to end of barrel to get your firearms exact measurement (see picture for proper measuring)

ATTENTION TAURUS JUDGE OWNERS! When placing a order for a Taurus Judge please double check your firearm for the correct cylinder length. There two different lengths depending on the model you own 2 1/2" and 3". CLY = Cylinder in the listing

I’ve generally come to expect that leather holsters are imperfect and require a significant break-in period. Not this! This holster fit perfectly immediately out of the box. It looks great, feels great, and functions exactly how I want it to. Genuine kudos to the creator! I’ve already ordered a second one and I know where I’ll be getting holster for my revolvers from now on! P.S. Please forgive the disgusting mirror selfie.
