This tutorial contains diagram and written instructions on how to make this large sunflower ornament, in tatting - lace making technique. Tutorial includes pages with diagrams, written instructions and tips on how to make your own Sunflower. This Tatting Pattern is for both shuttle and needle tatters.
To be able to make this pattern, you will need two shuttles or tatting needle. You will need to know how to make split rings, floating rings and balanced double stitches. Sunflower in the photos is made with size 8 cotton embroidery thread and is 12 cm / 5 in wide, but can be made in any other thread size.
