HOW DID IT ALL START?
Our journey began when our English Bull Terrier was born deaf. At the time, the standard collar and lead for deaf dogs (who decided this, I’m still not sure!) were white with black writing — and it just wasn’t bright enough for her… or for me.
I love bold, bright, funky colours, and I kept thinking: why can’t safety gear be colourful too?
That simple thought is where it all started.
I first launched these items at Paws in the Park 2019, and I was honestly blown away by the response. The positive comments — and customers placing orders with their own personalisation — confirmed that this was something people really wanted.
Every dog has their own little traits, and it was so lovely hearing from customers who wanted to help others understand their dog a bit better. Whether their dog is deaf, blind, nervous, reactive, anxious, scared of other dogs, scared of people — the list goes on — these covers help communicate that at a glance.
All lead covers are made from waterproof quilted fabric, with a fluorescent yellow hook-and-loop fastening for easy attachment. Each slip cover also features bands of high-quality reflective tape, helping to improve visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
They’re practical, easy to use, and designed to stand out — just like the dogs wearing them.
