Print Preview: Always double check the image in print preview and it’s also a good idea to test print a test version in black and white to make sure there are no margin settings that might be off. Printer Ink: Always double check that none of the printer ink (color or black) is low. IMPORTANT: In Print Setup, make sure “print actual size” or “print at 100%” are checked and “fit to page” is unchecked. To Set Paper Size: If your printer prints a variety of paper sizes, make sure you set it up prior to printing for your desired paper size. In most cases, you will print on 8.5” x 11” paper and use a ruler and craft knife to trim the picture to size.

PRINT AT HOME TIPS II

To Set Image Size: Even though your paper is 8 .5” X 11” on many printers you will still need to select the image size from given options. If the image is 8” X 10” and you wish to print larger or smaller, choose an option within the appropriate aspect ratio (aspect ratios are in the image titles and explained further down in the facts). Please note that image quality can be compromised if blown up too big, so preview the image in the larger size first. IMPORTANT: Under “Print Setup” or “Printer Properties”, change the paper type in the drop-down menu to match (or closely match) the paper you are using and change the print quality settings to the highest quality available. If the paper type is not reset, you could have paper feed problems.

PRINT AT HOME TIPS III

Types of Paper to Use: Heavyweight matte photo paper, fine art paper, ultra-premium presentation paper (matte) or a good quality heavy white premium card stock is recommended. Glossy papers and glossy or lightweight photo papers (the kind used for snapshots) are not recommended. Some very heavyweight papers will not work in home printers, but most heavyweight and presentation papers will. We recommend Ultra-Premium Matte and Velvet Fine Art paper from Epson or heavyweight matte photo paper from Staples works great.

ART PRINTING SERVICE TIPS

Sending Your Art Out to be Printed: Take your image file to a local printer (not a photo lab) or use an online printing service. Photo labs like the ones at grocery, discount or drugstores are not recommended as the quality of the image and colors are likely to come out badly. Finding Local Art Printing Services: Google “art printing services” in your area to find local printers, or Google, “printing services” and call local printers and ask if they can print digital art on quality matte paper. You can also Google “online printers art photos posters.” Choose a heavyweight matte white paper (sometimes it will be called fine art paper) and always check online for discounts. REMINDER: Glossy papers are not recommended for printing out artwork.

This printable art piece is a whimsical interpretation of an antique portrait painting of a woman. This painting has been enhanced and altered - original distressing has been left in and adds to the painting’s unique charm. The focus becomes the depth of color and intricate details of the painting. Makes a great statement art piece and works well with a variety of decor styles.

🎇 How to Print 🎇
Print Instantly at Home:
For best quality when printing from home, we recommend printing on matte paper such as card stock, photo paper or thick paper if your printer allows.

Print at Local Printer Photo / Art Printing Service:
For a high-quality print, you can visit a local print shop or look for an online printer that will ship your print to you. Some recommendations are Shutterfly, Snapfish, Vistaprint, Finerworks, Staples.

Please Note:
Colors may appear slightly different on different screens, and different printers and papers may produce different color results. When color is critical, I recommend doing a small print as a test prior to a large final print. Final quality depends on the printing device, paper and ink you use.
