The Aivilo Shirred Skirt is a great skirt for both ladies and girls. With three styles to choose from – basic (which makes a great “canvas” for appliqué), ruffled-edge, or two-tiered – there are so many possibilities to show off your creativity. Shirring is a very simple technique to learn, and the feminine look it lends to this skirt is so pretty.

Materials needed:
• non-stretchy cotton fabrics (amount depends on the wearer’s size)
• elastic thread (readily available in your fabric store’s notions area)
• thread
• rotary cutter & mat or ruler & scissors
Sizes that can be made: instructions are included to make this skirt for babies 6m on up to ladies XL. Cutting instructions are included; all the pieces are easy to measure rectangles with no printing required.
