This shoe rack is absolutely a work of art. It is unfortunately so attractive and well made that you almost don't want to put shoes on it. I highly recommend this seller. He actually was so kind as to use a natural oil that I requested. Worth the cost.

The shoe rack is beautifully made of red oak. It’s a lovely piece of furniture, really, and I mentioned to Daniel that I hated to place shoes on it…. it seems like it should hold wine bottles or something! Daniel provided photos of each step of the construction, and it appears he has a very serious wood shop. It’s clear by his photos and detailed descriptions of his work that he takes his craft very seriously and is very detail-oriented. I take it this is not his full-time job, so it may take longer to receive your order than is initially indicated. But that’s because he takes great care in crafting these pieces, and in packing them for shipment, and it is an enormous shipment when it arrives on your doorstep. We’re very pleased with our shoe rack, and so glad we spent more for a fine-crafted piece of work that will last forever
