The B-plane jacket is made of boiled wool (100% virgin wool, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®), a fantastic material, because it warms but doesn't make you sweat (regulates body temperature naturally) and also keeps drizzle well .
The jacket can be worn from the first cool evenings of September until spring and can also be used as a winter jacket. If it's very cold, I recommend perhaps putting another layer of wool or cotton underneath.
You can choose the hood lining!
You have the choice between
A.) an organic Jersey cotton in different colours, in the photo you see my tone-on-tone proposals but you can also create your favorite combination.
1. pink
2. light green
3. green
4. mint
5. antique rose
6. sand
7. light grey
8. grey
9. mustard
10. white
11. orange
12. pink
Please let me know the color of your choice in a message when ordering.
or
B.) a super soft plush-type fabric (100% ORGANIC cotton), which costs 6 Euros more (ATTENTION: to be chosen in the "+ plush" menu).
The sleeves have cuffs in elastic cotton fabric (BIO). I chose the dark gray color for all the garments (not as you see in the photo, there you still see the light gray that I used at the beginning for all the jackets).
In the front pocket you can store small treasures found in the woods (our pockets are ALWAYS full of stones and sticks....).
The jacket closes with a large zip (with chin protection) and behind the hood there is a fabric hook for hanging.
The cut is simple, unisex, so the jacket can be worn by boys and girls.
In the photo a child (height 96 cm) is wearing a size jacket. 98.

Information on boiled wool:
Boiled wool is a 100% natural product made from sheep's wool, denser and more resistant than virgin wool. It does not contain chemical additives.
How is boiled wool created?
The pure wool is first knitted and then felted and compacted through a special steam and heat treatment. The fabric shrinks by up to 40% during this process (the fulling process) and the contraction of the wool fibers traps a large number of air chambers that store released body heat and retain cold air from outside.
Boiled wool has wonderful properties:
- warming, but also thermoregulating and breathable
- almost self-cleaning (the fibers transport dirt to the outside) and also has an antibacterial effect
- water and dirt repellent thanks to the grease in the wool (lanolin) and the air chambers, water droplets simply roll off the surface of the fabric
- retains bad odors poorly
- its specific weight is low
Wash:
Thanks to the structure of the fibers and the grease of the wool, bacteria and dirt are unlikely to settle. Dirt as well as moisture are transported to the outside of the fabric.
To clean the garment, simply hang it in the open air (perhaps all night). Once dry, the dirt can be brushed off with your hand or a soft brush (important: wait until the dirt is really dry).
If this isn't enough (perhaps after a nice flight through the mud ;-), you can wash the garment carefully by hand in warm water with a wool detergent. Do not soak the garment for too long and do not wring or rub it afterwards. After rinsing, simply wrap it in a towel, wring it out carefully and let it dry lying on a towel.
Delivery:
Production time is approximately 3-10 business days, depending on order volume. But of course I always try to send you your orders as soon as possible.
Note:
Despite our attention to producing photographic images with colors faithful to reality, the perception of these may vary from monitor to monitor.
The jacket is sewn according to the „Jackenliebe“ pattern by Lila-wie-Liebe, license no. 0145.
