Seller's description

**This is a quilt pattern in Downloadable PDF form. This listing is not for a finished quilt. You will be sent a link to download the pattern.**

Unfinished block: 20” x 20” (12 blocks + border = Queen size, 16 blocks + border = King size)

We lived in southwestern New Mexico for 12 years. It was home to the Mimbres people around the year 1000 AD. They left behind beautiful bowls with depictions of the wildlife in the area. I've adapted the bowl designs to large foundation paper pieced quilt blocks that you can use for a variety of different quilts. There are 16 Mimbres animal and people patterns. Twelve plus the border make a queen size quilt or sixteen plus the border make a king size quilt. The original designs were black on a white background, I've added a splash of turquoise and copper here and there, but you don't have to use my color scheme.

The pattern includes the measurements and instructions, hints and tips for foundation paper piecing and instructions for paper piecing. Pattern pages can be printed on letter size paper.

This PDF includes:
Complete instructions with detailed images
Border instructions for bed quilts.
Materials needed
And me. If you have any questions along the way just email or convo me.

***Note: This pattern will only instruct you on the construction for the quilt block. Binding and backing instructions are not provided. As there are so many different ways. *****

Due to the instant download feature this pattern is non-refundable. Please make copies for yourself and not your friends. Independent designers everywhere thank you. Please do not sell the finished quilts without express written permission. Thank you for understanding.
