Size Options:
The 4-layer collar is for mild pluckers. It prevents plucking of the chest, back, wings, and under the wing. Does not stop parrots from getting to their neck, feet, and tail, and has a thin draping style.

The 7-layer collar is for severe pluckers. Prevents plucking of all areas other than the neck. It has 4 layers of preenable fabric and 3 supporting bottom layers to ensure a perfect cone-like shape.

Measurements:
The neck hole diameter is 1.6 inches (5-inch circumference). The diameter of the entire collar is 9 inches (28-inch circumference).

What parrots can fit in this collar?
These collars also fit parrots other than Congo African Grey's that are a similar size. This includes but is not limited to Eclectus Parrots, Galahs, Tanimbar Corellas, and Rose-breasted cockatoos. Please note that this does not fit the Timneh African Grey as it is much smaller than the Congo.

Congrats! The collar did its job! Our collars are made to be destroyed over time. If your parrot is busy ripping our product apart then that means they are spending less time doing that same damage to their beautiful feathers. This is also the reason our collars are so cheap compared to the competitors. Our competitors have worked hard to try and make indestructible collars, but even the strongest of plastic can't stop a parrot's strong beak. So, we decided it was time to do the opposite and make a collar that is affordable, lasts a decent amount of time, and is destructible.

Anti-plucking collars prevent birds from ripping their feathers out, over time this bad habit can turn into self-mutilation. Self-mutilation is the act of self-harming in order to cope or get stimulation, and in extreme cases, can result in death. But in particular, for my parrot Bubbles, it resulted in him being completely flightless in one wing. Collars like mine help to completely prevent issues like this from occurring in the first place.

I don’t think any African Grey enjoys wearing a collar, however, it is a must after surgery. Rocky may have believed he was going to die when we placed it over his head, but within an hour he was tolerating it quite well. It is very soft, comfortable and so well constructed that it has withstood all his efforts to destroy it. Thank you!!
