Beautiful keepsake memory bears made from loved ones clothing. A wonderful way to remember your child's early years, mark a milestone in someone's life or remember a loved one who has passed away. Made with love, in memory of those who are no longer with us, these memory bears make a great rememberance gifts, as well as retirement or birthday presents.
These unique memorial bears intend to replicate your loved one's style - e.g. jumper over the shirt etc.
The garments on the bear are non-removable.
I can make removable garments at extra cost.

SIZES:

The bears come in two sizes - smaller (23-25 cm sitting - perfect for small spaces e.g. next to the telly or on a small shelf) and bigger (30-32cm sitting - perfect for placing it on the bed)

PERSONALISATION

For extra £5 I can add personslised embroidery or printed poem.

Embroidery - up to 20 characters in total

Printed poem - any poem of your choice or a longer message. This is printed onto white fabric and sewn onto the bear.

Loved one's writing

I can transfer a loved one's handwriting from cards, letters etc without destroying the original, onto white fabric and sew it onto the bear, making it even more special.
If you would like both, poem and embroidery, or embroidery and transferred handwriting, the cost will be additional £10 to the cost of the bear.

Please note - transferred writing and embroidery are two different options.At present I am unable to embroider in loved one's writing. Instead, the writing is transferred onto white fabric and sewn as a patch on the bear

MINI URN

Sometimes is difficult to decide what to do with your loved ones ashes or where to store them.
My uniquely designed memory bear allows you to store small sample of your loved ones ashes in a discreet pocket in one of the bear's feet.

Please do not send me the ashes.

The pocket has either a button or a zip closure and is equiped with a beautiful mini urn.(I provide the urn, which you can fill once you receive your bear.)

The ashes pocket bear is a wonderful way to keep your loved ones always close to you.

Please select the correct option from the drop down menu if you require personalisation.

The arms and legs of the bear can be moved, allowing you to position the bear just the way you like. I always endavour to make the bears very individual, even if they are made out of the same clothes, by adding, free of charge, unique touches from your loved one's clothes, such as pockets and buttons. Resized accesories (scarves, hats, ties) as well as resized garments (gliettes, waistcoats, skirsts, dresses) are subject to extra charge.
I can incorporate the original collars of shirts free of charge, however, should you wish another collar to be made from scratch, an additional charge is applied. All of those small details are hand sewn to ensure your bear is trully unique.

AMOUNT OF ITEMS NEEDED:

Newborn clothing - 5-8 pieces
Toddler clothing 3-6 pieces
Larger items of clothing (child/adult) 1-3 pieces, I would recommend at least two items of clothing so there is contrast, but I can make the bears from only one item of adult clothing.
I can also work with hats,gloves, scarves etc.


HOW IT WORKS:

Payment is due upon ordering.Please send your items (the address will be provided when the order is finalised) via tracked, recorded delivery along with any special instructions you may have.(e.g.which garment you would like for which part of the bear)
Once I recieve the clothing I will inform you and will start working on your keepsake.I will keep you informed about the progress of my work.It can about 4 weeks from receiving the clothing to make your keepsake depending on current orders.Once finished, I will post the keepsake to you by Royal Mail tracked, signed for delivery.

HOW TO ORDER


To order please click on the listing and select the relevant options from the drop down menu (height and personalisation)
Add the bear to basket.
Go to basket and change the quantity if you require more than one bear. If you would like to add another keepsake e.g. dog click "keep browsing", otherwise proceed to checkout and payment.
Once the order is placed I will send you my full postal address (I am in Manchester, UK).

The keepsakes are not toys, they don't carry the Ce mark, they will be made with all the same care as all my items are, they will be stuffed with hollowfibre, non-allergenic washable polyester filling, complying with Fire Safety Standards BS5852 Cleanliness BS1425 European Standard EN71.
I use toy safety eyes and nose is hand embroidery.
