(English description below)
Linen Road table runners add a touch of tradition to your dining room. Table runners used to be used to protect the tablecloth from spills and other mishaps. Linen Road produces two different types of table runners: those that lie lengthwise on the table and those that can be placed crosswise on the table. The former are narrow and 35-40 cm wide and 140-260 cm long. They either cover the entire table or just its center. The latter are 45-50 cm wide and 140 - 160 cm long. When placed across the table, they serve not only as decoration, but also as a double placemat. Because they are made from a dense linen fabric with a weight of 320 gr/m², these table runners provide optimal protection for your table or tablecloth. Linen Road fabrics are relatively heavy, they lie securely on the table and are therefore also suitable for use on the terrace or in the garden. Our table runners are made from Baltic flax, which is characterized by its long and extremely durable fibers - thanks to this fabric they are lint-free and will last for generations. Thanks to the production using a traditional spinning and weaving technique, shrinkage of the fabric after the first wash is limited to only approx. 5%. Ironing is not absolutely necessary; in our opinion, our table runners look natural and beautiful even when unironed. If you would like the fabric to be a little firmer, you can use a little starch when ironing. The gray Linen Road table runner goes perfectly with our gray napkins.

Table runner, 100% linen **
Linen Road table runner gives your dining space a touch of tradition. Historically table runner appeared as a coverage to catch spills and thus protected the table cloth. Linen Road produces two types of table runners: the ones you can put lengthwise and the ones you can place widthwise across the table. The former ones are narrow and comprise 35 – 40 cm (14 – 16 inches) in width and 140 – 260 cm (55 – 102 inches) in length. They might cover the full length of the table or only its central part. The later ones are 45 – 50 cm (18 – 20 inches) wide, put widthwise they not only serve as a décor, but also play a role of a double placemat. These are 160 cm (63 inches) long. Linen Road uses high density 100% linen fabric of 320 gr/m², this means the table runner will safely protect your table or table cloth underneath. Linen Road fabric is relatively heavy; it lays solidly on the surface and is suitable for outdoor use. Our table runners are produced from flax grown in the Baltic region, which is known for perfectly long and strong fibers, which means they will not have any pilling and will serve for generations. Spun and woven in traditional technique, the fabric that Linen Road Runners are made of will only shrink approx. 5% after the first wash. Ironing is optional; We believe these table runners look very beautiful also when soft and natural. To achieve a more formal look you can use starch while ironing. The dark gray Linen Road table runners match with our dark gray napkins.
