This 1950s black "Corde" clutch with a top handle is in great condition and undamaged although it has obviously been used at some point in its history. The handbag is clean and is a fine example of this style of purse. As you can see in the pictures, the "Genuine Corde" tag inside the zipper pocket does have some fraying. This clutch, its design and solid color make it easy to transition from casual to formal wear, day to night use. Measurements are 7 1/2" wide by 5" tall by 1" deep. The bag has a center zippered pocket with open pockets on either side along with a top handle that measures 11 1/2" end to end for a drop of about 4 1/2" to the top of the center scallop on the bag itself.
