The Carl-Art Jewelry Company of Providence Rhode Island produced jewelry under this Hallmark from 1936 to 1981.
This beautiful piece has both a pin back and loop, so that it can be worn as a brooch or on a chain as a pendant.

About the Seller:
I have been designing and hand crafting silver and gold jewelry for over 25 years, and generally work from my small studio in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I've made thousands of pieces of jewelry in my lifetime, continuing a tradition of craftsmanship in wood, metal, stone, and fabric that goes back many generations in my family to our Scottish and Irish ancestors. My work has appeared in several dozen galleries in the American south, across Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado, and has been featured several times in publication. Gems and minerals are a passion for me. When not behind the counter at my studio or making jewelry, I create two dimensional artwork (drawings and paintings), and write about rocks, minerals, and history, drawing upon my background as a research scientist. My love of science informs much of my work, and I often incorporate unusual non-traditional gemstones or artifacts. I completed a degree in archaeology at Southern Methodist University, in Texas, and completed a PhD in geoscience (Space and Planetary Science) in Arkansas, and still do some scientific work in earth science fields.
Due to the pandemic, I am returning to the internet after over 15 years away from doing any significant online sales, and a LOT has changed.
Please bear with me, as I work out the kinks in re-learning online selling and how to handle shipping and postage from home.
I look forward to encountering many of my existing customers online as well as meeting some new ones.
I want to thank you sincerely for supporting me and every other small business as we struggle to find ways to adapt and survive in this new and changing business environment.
Your purchases help pay my bills - and I love you for it!
