Highlights

*January 30th, 2022 - Version 3 of the ATX PSU bracket has been released. There is a new fresh look for 2023 and the bracket has been strengthened significantly!

This 3d printed bracket allows an ATX PSU to be used with the Cooler Master NR200 and NR200P. Here are the features of this custom designed bracket:

• Allows two 2.5in hard drives or a single 3.5in hard drive to be attached to the bracket using the rubber washers included with the Cooler Master case
• Can be mounted to the back or the front of the case with multiple options for how high or low you decide to mount the PSU.
• Has several slots for cord management
• Printed using PETG which is a strong and temperature resistant material
• Can be used with a full length, triple slot GPU in a horizontal or vertical mounting position
• Space for a side-mounted or bottom-mounted radiator with roughly 65mm of space between the PSU and the side radiator mount

FAQ:

• Will it work with my PSU?

All ATX PSUs share the same dimensions except for depth, so check the dimensions carefully and consider how you want to mount your GPU with the considerations below taken into account.

Horizontal (bottom) GPU mount: This bracket works very well with PSUs less than 150mm in depth. If your PSU is more than 150mm, then you can still mount the GPU horizontally if you have a short enough GPU, but otherwise I'd recommend a vertical mount.

Vertical (side) GPU mount: You can use a longer PSU in this case because the graphics card will not be in the way. I'd imagine you could even use PSUs over 200mm with the only restriction being if you wanted to mount a bottom radiator or something like that.

• What material do you use to print these?

These are printed using PETG which is made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) enhanced with glycol (hence the letter G after PET). It's an extremely strong material with high temperature resistance. It's the perfect material for this use.

• Can I mount a radiator or fan on the side?

There is 65mm of space for a radiator mounted on the side. If you mount a 3.5in HDD on the PSU then this is reduced to 37mm. With a 2.5in HDD, you gain a little more room and have 53mm of space.

• Can I mount a fan above the PSU?

You can mount a 25mm fan above the PSU when it's in the lowest position, or a 15mm fan in the second lowest position. In these positions you need to mount your GPU vertically though unless you have a short enough GPU where it doesn't interfere with the cables coming out of the bottom of the PSU. If you vertically mount your GPU then you can definitely put any fan above it whilst using the two lower positions.

• Can you use this bracket to mount the PSU on the front panel?

Absolutely! As of December 15th, 2020, I began including 3d printed spacers that allow you to easily mount the bracket to the front panel with the small screws included with the NR200. Instructions for this specifically are available here: https://imgur.com/a/XwC4Mns

• Which holes do I use on the bracket for mounting the PSU to the back panel next to the motherboard?

This link will clearly show which holes to use: https://imgur.com/a/sIbtnqB

• What are these little pieces that came with the bracket?

There are 4 spacer pieces which are included primarily for enabling you to mount the PSU to the front panel. They can also be used to mount the bracket higher up on the back panel. Here is a link for more information: https://imgur.com/a/XwC4Mns

• Can I use screws to mount the hard drive to the bracket instead of the rubber grommets and metal hardware included with the NR200?

You might be able to use some sort of screw/washer setup and use the holes already in place to do so; however, the rubber grommets and metal hardware method of mounting the hard drives is actually super secure. I'd urge you to try that out first.

• Can I mount the PSU with the air intake inside the case?

Yes, you can mount it in either direction since there are holes all over the bracket for ventilation.

• Can I use a fanless PSU with this bracket?

Definitely! There are holes on all four sides of the bracket for this reason.

• Can you just sell me the .stl file so I can print this myself or have someone closer to me ship it?

As much as I'd love to provide the file to people, I've spent a TON of time testing and designing this bracket and would prefer to be the sole provider of the bracket for the time being. I have put my heart and soul into this project and I hope you understand my position. This may change someday but for now this is how it has to be.

This 3D printed PSU bracket fulfills it's stated goal of letting you cram a full sized ATX PSU into the well regarded NR200 case, and it's as modular as all the pics in the listing show. Mine came with one of the screw holes looking somewhat melted, but it didn't prevent me from being able to screw into it. If I had one complaint, it's that I needed someone to hold the PSU while I threaded the nails into the bracket and secured it to my PC's case. The instructions could have been a little clearer about how hard it'd be to go through the installation process on your own. Overall I'm satisfied and would reccomend this specific bracket to anyone holding onto their NR200 between upgrades.

Great product. Just wishing it was aluminum because one of the joints chipped off.

Screw holes required a little modification by making them a tad larger with a small screw driver. Other than that an excellent print!
