What if an item breaks during shipping?

I work hard to wrap and package items so they are protected during shipping. These are fragile items, however, and accidents happen. If an item arrives damaged, please contact me for a replacement with the following information: 1. A picture of the damaged, original packaging with the piece still in it. 2. A picture of the damaged piece. After receiving the pictures I will ship a replacement item. If it was a custom item, I will send a picture of the replacement for your approval before shipping. Requests for replacements will be refused without the required pictures.

Are the item pictures representations or the actual item?

Both! The picture type is listed in the item description. For smaller items, such as mugs, small bowls, spoon rests, etc., the pictures are representations. The pictures are selected to accurately display the style, size and shape of the item. The glaze images accurately represent the color options. Of course, each item is handmade and will vary slightly from the item in the representative picture. I can send an image of the actual item before shipping upon request. For larger unique items, such as serving platters, decorative wall pieces, and all custom orders, the pictures are of the actual item. These are one-of-a-kind pieces that require one-of-a-kind images.

Are shipping prices an estimate or exact?

Shipping prices are estimated based on the size of the purchased item and the buyer's location. Actual shipping costs may be less than the automated estimate. Differences of more than $2 between actual cost and the charged estimate will be refunded to the buyer. Shipping costs will not exceed the estimated costs included in buyer's payment.

Beautiful handmade oil bottle. Perfect for olive oil, balsamic oil, or vinegar!

Each bottle is thrown by hand on our pottery wheel with porcelain clay. They are perfect for everyday use and look beautiful sitting on your kitchen counter. Every piece has a spout built into the piece to be used by itself, or can be used with the chrome pouring spout. Each purchase includes 1 weighted, closing chrome spout with purchase.

Each bottle can hold 10-16 oz approximately.

Every piece will vary slightly due to the handmade nature:

Straight: 8" tall x 2.5" Wide, 10 ounces

Round: 6.5" Tall x 3" wide 14 ounces

Bubble: 6" x 3.25" wide , 16 ounces

Also note that the oil spouts provided with the bottles are not meant to last the lifetime of the bottle and may need to be replaced. A local kitchen store will have a variety of options.

Gorgeous piece of pottery, however, the color is extremely different than in the stock photos. The photos (for peacock selection) look more of a lighter blue with dark blues and browns included. The bottle I got was very dark blue with some hints of other colors throughout. I had left a note in the order with what I was vaguely looking for in hopes the seller would take it into account when selecting the piece, but I never heard back and it was shipped out immediately the next day. Purchased as a gift so not upset with the overall order and really a beautiful piece, but slightly disappointed that the colors were so drastically different.
