It's that little souvenir of a terrible year...
Each pin has been engraved on the back with "2020". Inspired by The Sundays and making it through the first year of the worldwide pandemic of Covid-19.
The serif typeface used is Souvenir, aka the "seventh worst typeface in the world." (If you didn't know, it was seen as an overused and ubiquitous font in the 1970s —with ensuing resentment in the following decades comparable to the hate Comic Sans gets nowadays.)
