Unfulfilled orders and lost items

As I am a small independent business if I (Scintilla Sunrise) am unable to fulfil an order for any reason I will refund your money but cannot accept any further liability. If there is a delay in receiving your item from Scintilla Sunrise or your item is lost I will replace or refund your item depending on the circumstances, other than this I cannot accept any further liability. I am unable to refund or replace items which have been lost in the post until 10 working days have passed. Thank you for understanding 😊.

My products are intended for adult use only. Please do not leave them in the reach of babies, children or pets.

General safety advice

Please note none of my products should be worn when: sleeping, showering, bathing, or during any intense physical activity. Please put my items on after getting dressed & take them off before getting changed. If you wear my items with delicate materials or expensive outfits you do so at your own risk, my items are handmade, and I work a great deal with wire and although I do my very best to ensure that edges are smoothed and/or tucked away there is still a very small chance that these edges might catch on clothing. My jewellery is made in a clean environment however there is always a small chance that allergens may come into contact with items. Please wash your item/s before use. This list is not exhaustive and common sense should be used.

A great deal of thought goes into creating my pieces and as such if I find that my more unique designs are deliberately being copied by other sellers I will consider taking action. Thanks for understanding.

What is gold filled jewellery?

Gold filled jewellery is jewellery with a solid layer of real gold mechanically bonded to a base metal such as brass. It is much thicker than gold plated and therefore of superior quality.

Please ensure that you order the correct width and guage for your piercing and read the listing descriptions in full. For hygiene reasons I will not resell anything that goes through a piercing that has been sent out, regardless of whether it has been taken out of the packaging or not. Please be aware that my items are not sterile and are not suitable for new piercings.

You’re very welcome to return your item within 30 days of receipt. Please message me via Etsy before returning anything. Buyers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty. Proof of postage must be obtained. If you cancel within 14 days, I’ll refund the item cost plus standard delivery. For returns after 14 days, I’ll refund the item cost only. Pierced jewellery can only be returned if faulty or unopened and unworn, due to hygiene reasons. If a free gift was included, please return it too.
