Christia obcordata - Butterfly Plant or Swallowtail

The charm of the Butterfly Plant is its leaf. You may have seen other butterfly-shape plants such as Purple Shamrock (Oxalis triangularis) or Red Butterfly Wing (Christia vespertilionis) but this Christia obcordata or Butterfly Plant is even more beautiful!
Unlike the purple and red butterflies, the green butterfly has the unique patterned leaves just like the wings of a butterfly. It is pleasing to the eyes to see its pattern change from a single maroon stripe on a bright green leaf to deeper color stripe pattern as it grows. The yellow-red color of the mature leaves is also amazing.
After harvested, the seeds are kept temperature-controlled to keep its quality to the highest.
It is often confused with the Christia Vespertilionis/Cespertilionis - the Red Wing Butterfly / Bat Wing
