To calculate the interior, usable space, subtract 1.5 inches from the exterior dimensions.

For shadow boxes that are taller than wide, the hinges will be on the left side. For the shadow boxes that are wider than tall, the hinges will be across the top.

Box quality was excellent. Only problem I have that I will tweak is that the hanger is on for hanging it one direction instead of what I need. I probably didn’t specify and it should be an easy fix. Box is heavy duty and so much better than any mass produced box I had tried.
