💙 Stronger shades of Bioglitter 💙

Just like with face paints, some of our stronger shades may leave colour transfer on the skin. This is normal given the way the glitter is not coated in plastic like traditional glitter is. Simply wash off with an oil-based makeup remover, or warm water and a mild soap. We recommend Micellar water. If you want to avoid this completely, the worst offending glitter colours tend to be blue, green and purple.

🌱 What is Luminosity Glitter made from? 🌱

It is plant based not plastic. Made primarily from eucalyptus cellulose from responsibly managed plantations operating to PEFC standards.

🌿 Is our glitter vegan friendly? 🌿

The Sparkle Range is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Our Pure, Pure Opal, Vivid and Holo ranges are suitable for vegetarians only as they contain responsibly sourced shellac from the lac beetle.

🧒 Is Luminosity Glitter suitable for little ones? 🧒

Yes, we always recommend only using glitter on the faces children over the age of 6 as children tend to rub their eyes. But it is safe for use on their skin.

🛍️ What size pots can I purchase glitter in? 🛍️

Our glitter is available in various ways: • 5ml/3g Plastic pots • Refillable • Recyclable • 10ml/6g Aluminium pots • Refillable • Recyclable • Biodegradable refill bags • Recyclable • Biodegradable The plastic inserts on our aluminium pots are recyclable too and pop out. Take care when popping the plastic out of the lid as edges can be sharp. 10ml/6g pot lid printing colour may vary. All weights are approximate.

✨ How do I get the glitter to stick? ✨

As our glitter is loose glitter, you will need to use a cosmetic fixative. We recommend our aloe vera gel which is great for sensitive skin or glitter fix gel with a slightly stronger hold than aloe gel.

To ship our sparkly orders we use eco-friendly Jiffy bags for small orders that are filled with a 100% recycled paper fibre lining to keep your sparkle safe on its journey. Larger sets and orders are shipped using cardboard boxes that can be recycled. We use paper tape too.

i wear this most days. it applies perfectly with aloe vera, and stays well! it can bleed the colors into the aloe, but it wipes off easily. be aware of the aluminum content if you have sensitivities.
