Upcycled Denim Christmas Throw Quilt, Santa, Bears, Angels (54x72)

Backed with a festive black, red, and green Christmas print, our denim throw quilt can become a toasty portion of your Christmas décor. Smiling children, teddy bears, angels, and drawings of Santa Claus make the back of the quilt as cute as the front.

We constructed the top of our quilt entirely of denim, and backed it with a piece of cotton quilting fabric. To further tie in the Christmas colors of the backing, we added strips of red, green, and black denim to our quilt of blue jeans. For added fun, we incorporated three blue jeans pockets, perfect for holding an accent like a folded bandana or even securing the tv remote.

With a finished size of 54 inches by 72 inches (137cm by 183cm), our throw quilt is large enough to serve as a generous lap quilt or a small bed quilt. For better wear and tear, we machine tack our denim quilts every four to six inches. The binding is stitched in a complementary pine bough design, and also includes a script font with the description "handmade by Handiworkin' Girls." (See the last listing photo.)

The batting on our Christmas quilt is Warm & Natural, an American-made, unbleached 100% cotton batting. The quilt is machine washable and dryable; however, it may shrink up to 3% during its first washing. Although the upcycled denim has been thoroughly cleaned, the quilt has not been prewashed.

Care instructions: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle; tumble dry low or air dry. Some shrinkage may occur.
