The pure gold is hand forged and has a burnished finish which is basically the goldsmith's way to harden and strengthen the piece to ensure it will retain its shape for daily wear.

- The ear wire diameter is optimized for wearability, strength (.96mm) and taking on and off.

- The ball or teardrop portion is approx. 2.6mm in diameter.

Backings can be applied to these earrings if desired. Depending on your ear shape and what activities may affect frequent shifting of your earring, you may desire additional security. If so, please let me know and I can provide silicone backings sized perfectly and install picture as reference. I will also ship backings after the fact if desired. Just send a message!

24K gold is hypoallergenic so it will not react with your skin, no matter how sensitive it is.

I am a small shop, and this particular hand forged design prevents me from stamping a 24k hallmark on them without altering the design of the piece, but I do supply a certificate of authenticity. The pieces can always be easily tested for .9999 purity by a gold buyer or a large jewelry store if one ever needs to.

If any mishaps happen to occur with your piece, it can be easily taken care of at any local jewelry store.

This is my rustic, completely hand forged series of earrings meant to bring out the natural luster of pure gold jewelry and make it unique to you!

It has been a passion of mine to work solely with 24K gold, .9999 pure. Its luster is incomparable to any other metal. Gold is the only metal with a yellow hue and is born in the explosion of a supernova (the largest known explosion that takes place in space) or collision of neutron stars. The natural properties of it, from its non-reactivity to everything and its malleability has created in me a gold fever that can only be satisfied by making unique pieces to share with others.
