That is the moment this gift is for. A personalized wedding gift for the couple, a herringbone throw blanket with their names and wedding date engraved into a leather patch, the kind of thing they reach for on the couch long after the flowers are gone.

You already know the couple this is for. You have pictured their faces. You want to give them something that does not end up in a closet with the spare towels and the picture frames. Something they keep. Something that tells them you saw them.

When they open it, they read the patch. Their two names. The date it all started. And they go quiet for a second, the good kind of quiet, the kind that means a gift landed somewhere a card never reaches.

The blanket feels like the softest part of their new home. A classic herringbone weave with fringe edges that looks like it came off a design shelf, but soft like fleece instead of the stiff woven throws that look better than they feel. The throw is woven herringbone in soft polyester, 50 by 60 inches, light enough to layer year round. The leather patch is laser-engraved and set with brass rivets, so their names and date never fade and never wash away. Every one is hand-personalized in our Houston studio and made to order, so the blanket they unwrap was made for them and no one else.

You choose the blanket color, cream, gray, chai, or navy, and the patch color to match. Then you tell us what to engrave. Most people pick the couple's last name with their wedding year, both first names with the date, or simply Mr. and Mrs. and the name they now share. Add the matching pillow or the gift wrap if you want it to arrive ready to hand over.

Customer service is outstanding. A proof of my personalization was provided quickly with options and reassurance that I could make any changes. My blanket was shipped the same day the proof was approved. Having more options for the blanket size would be awesome, but otherwise 5 star service and quality.
