All buildings and trees are cut from heavy weight white cardstock. Each window has wax paper behind it. This gives the illusion of flickering lights inside when a tea light is place under.

Houses do not fold down. They are permanent structures.

All building roofs are embossed to give them the look of roof shingles.

Buildings are shipped with a square of Buffalo Snow Batting. This batting can be placed under the village to give it the look of snow and can be used to safely store the village after the holidays.
