Do you offer custom nails or make changes to a set?

I love a custom order! Please message me with your ideas, the more detail the better! Images welcome, this doesn’t have to be nails, it could be a pattern or a theme etc. Please note that I do not recreate other nail artists work. All designs can be customised, ie colours (including chrome) and nail art changes. Any changes must be equal to the design or minimal add ons. Anything else please contact me for a custom order.

How do I measure my nails?

You will need a piece of paper, tape, a pen and a ruler. STEP ONE Remove any nail products and write the following Left hand Right hand Thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky Thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky STEP TWO Place tape over nail (width) at the widest part (normally midway). Press down the tape into left and right sidewall to form a crease. STEP THREE Draw a line down the right and the left sidewall crease at the widest part of your nail. STEP FOUR Remove tape and measure the width in MM and write the MM under the correct finger. Please refer to image in each ad for a visual or search ‘how to measure for press on nails’ on YouTube.

How strong are the nails?

I use only the best and high quality professional products! The tips are natural Apres gel-X which are made with soft gel, not only are they of the highest quality (many famous nail artists and celebrities use them) but are durable. Each set of press on nails are finished with a generous cost of ‘give me strength’ which is a strengthening structure gel to protect designs and add even more strength but leaving enough flexibility for a comfortable fit. Please remember like all nails, care is needed and nails are not indestructible.

How do I apply the nails?

Gently push back cuticles with the orange stick. Trim down your own nails and gently file over your nail bed to remove shine. Wash your hands and dry thoroughly. Wipe over each nail using the alcohol wipes provided. This removes any oil from your own nails. Do not touch your own nails, this will add oil to your nail beds. Place the correct sized nail tab on your nail and position the nail at the cuticle and rock down, applying pressure and holding for 30 seconds. Avoid water for at least a couple of hours min. For longer wear consider buying a strong nail glue, I like KDS. Repeat the above and place enough (not too much) glue on your nail and the press on. Search YouTube ‘how to apply press on nails’.

Absolutely! Once removed correctly, simply pick off the sticky tabs, give a wipe over with an alcohol wipe and place back into the display box until next time. Using nail glue? Soak off your nails as normal (please see removal) and you can use either of these methods. Cut your mini file length ways and gently file down the glue. Or consider investing in a handheld e-file/electric nail file and use a medium grit bit to remove the glue (only remove the remaining glue and be careful not to file through the nail). You can find super cheap ones on amazon. Remember that no nail enhancement is indestructible so please treat your nails as jewels, not tools.

How do I remove my nails?

You can use this method when using nail tabs or nail glue. A bowl of warm water with washing up-liquid/dishwashing liquid and a little oil, ie cuticle oil, olive oil etc Add oil around your cuticles and press ons. Soak in the bowl for 10 minutes or so, wiggling your fingers. Your nails may pop off or loosen, check by using your orange stick (the flatter end) and gently lift the nail, do not force, this can cause damage to your nails and the press ons. Continue to soak until they’re loose and ready to come off. Add more warm water if needed. Do NOT use acetone, this will damage your press on nails and won’t be able to reuse. How do I prevent nails popping off?

Prep of your natural nails is one of the most important steps for long wear. All nails are made to order and I etch the underside midway with an e-file of each nail. Why do I do this? Imagine a shiny smooth natural nail with a shiny smooth press on together, there is no ‘grip’ for either to adhere to. So I take the extra step to e-file each nail to give you the best adhesion possible. This doesn’t affect the aesthetic of the nail at all. Consider buying a nail primer and/or a nail dehydrator as an extra step. Wearing the correct size is also important. Following ‘how do I measure my nails’ is an ideal way to find your size. I will be offering sizing kits by the end of March.

• See images or search YouTube ‘How to measure my nails for press on nails’.

• Ensure nails are free from any nail products.

• Use tape and place across the width of your nail at the widest part ensuring the tape is pushed into the crease of each side wall following the curvature of your natural nails.

• Mark a small line with a pen on either side of the tape at the widest point (don’t use a thick pen/marker).

• Repeat on both hands and write down your sizes in ‘mm’ by placing the tape on a piece of paper and measuring each finger from thumb to pinky.

• All parcels are sent tracked with Royal Mail. Etsy gives an estimate time of arrival, however they’re not linked to the postal service and are an estimate only. Shipping may take longer depending on customs, weather, special holidays etc which is out of my control and cannot guarantee delivery times.

🖤 AFTERCARE

• Wear gloves when using chemicals, things like hair dye, new clothing, tan, cleaning products and makeup etc can stain nails. Wearing gloves prevents this.

• Don’t use your nails as tools ie opening a can of soda or picking off a sticker etc treat them like Jewels.

• Follow nail prep (see images) and avoid a shower/bath before or after applying your nails.

• Don’t store in direct sunlight.

• Please follow correct removal (see images) as forcing them can damage your own nails and your press on nails.
