Er wurde liebevoll im Fusing-Glasofen bei über 800 °C geschmolzen, anschließend geschliffen und in der Silberschmiede in seine individuelle Fassung gefasst. Die magischen, lumineszierenden Eigenschaften von Dichro-Glas kommen in diesem einzigartigen Schmuckstück voll zur Geltung.

Der irisierende Effekt in diesem besonders widerstandsfähigen Glas wird durch das Einschmelzen von Metalloxiden und Quarz erzielt, eine Technologie, die von der NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) entwickelt wurde.
