As a "tourist" from the mainland United States, you tend to wake up pretty early in Hawaii because of the time zone differences. When I'm visiting, I am one of those people. Sometimes I use the quiet early morning hours to play around with the camera. Doing so, I grabbed this short timelapse of a view of a sleepy Kaka'ako waking up before sunrise. Light traffic on the streets and in a distance you'll see a streak across the sky. That is an airplane that had just taken off from the airport for a neighboring island.
I am offering this print in both an ARTIST SIGNED and general UNSIGNED formats. Please read the ORDER PROCESS/SHIPPING portion of this listing carefully as both processing times and shipping methods will differ.
Please note that cropping may occur depending on the size chosen of the print. If you want the full scope of the print, I recommend a 2:3 ratio print. Anything outside that footprint, you will likely lose the plane in the sky. Monitor color settings may also differ slightly.
*This listing is ONLY for the photo print. No matting or framing is provided. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
*PRINTING: I am offering 3 different types of paper choices to this listing. This photograph will be printed by a professional lab either on premium quality archival paper with a lustre coating which adds rich color and protects against fingerprints and UV exposure.
OR If you wish for the print to be printed on metallic paper (with a Glossy Pearlescent Finish) it too will have a lustre coating added for added protection. I have recently personally fallen in love with metallic printing and have found that it adds another dimension to the photographs. Should you wish to add texture or another variation to the photograph, please convo with me to get the proper pricing.
OR if you wish the print to be printed as a Giclée print, I am offering that option for this listing as well. The Giclée printing will be done on glossy photographic paper. The giclée process allows for an overall more detailed print compared to that of the traditional photographic print.
**ORDER PROCESS/SHIPPING:
ARTIST SIGNED PRINTS: Please allow 5-7 business days for your order to process for shipment. Once I've received your order, I will send your order off to a professional printer for printing. Once I receive your order back from the printer, I will inspect, sign, and package your item for shipment. All smaller sized photograph orders will ship in flat rigid mailer envelopes via USPS. If you order more than one print, all prints will ship in the same package. Larger sized prints will ship in rolled mailing tubes. The total expected arrival time for signed prints is generally about 10 business days (2 weeks).
UNSIGNED PRINTS: Please note that this is a newer method that may not be available on all photographic prints in my shop. It is available on this item. Please allow 1-5 business days to process and 3-7 days for transit. The total expected arrival time for an unsigned print is between 4-10 business days. I have worked with my supplier for some time and they are generally very speedy at the production and shipment of items. Once I receive your order, I will then send your order off to a professional printer for printing. The print will then be shipped directly from the printer to your door. (This is faster than the artist signed method as it is a direct shipment to you) Shipping is typically done either by FedEx or USPS. Please make sure to provide the proper shipping address that can accommodate both shipment methods.
**PLEASE NOTE: Orders returned to shipper due to address errors are subject to a 50% restocking fee and will be refunded upon receipt less the restocking and shipping fee. Please make sure your shipping address is correct on your order receipt. That will be the address the item will be shipped to. No exceptions.
**RETURNS: I will accept returns (less shipping) should this item listing be misrepresented in any way. I want to make sure my customers are happy with their purchases. Since this is a newer storefront for me, my feedback hasn't been built up yet, but I encourage you to visit my jewelry storefront which has been open for several years to get a feel for how I have done business on etsy in the past.
