This hand embroidered Otomi textile is created using a traditional technique from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where each motif holds meaning beyond decoration.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each piece is entirely handmade using 100% cotton fabric and thread.

The design is first drawn directly onto the fabric and then embroidered stitch by stitch using the traditional Otomi technique, creating depth, texture, and character.

This is not printed or machine-made — it is a slow, intentional process that takes several weeks to complete, resulting in a truly unique piece.

Created in collaboration with artisans from Hidalgo and curated by Casa Lanna Ha as a contemporary textile for intentional interiors.

Each textile is later altered with a fabric backing for wall hanging, transforming the piece from a traditional object into a contemporary presence within the home.

Designed to define a surface, this XL runner can be used on dining tables, consoles, as a bed runner or for Wall Art Decor.

Its scale and proportions allow it to anchor a space while adding structure and continuity across different elements.

• Textile Size: 27” x 102” APPROX. You'll receive only the embroidery folded on a box.
• Fabric Bordered Size: the final size will depend on the size of the border you choose to add on. You'll receive the embroidery with a fabric border ready to hang and rolled up on a protective tube.
**Variations in sizes are expected 1"- 2" due to artisanal process**
• Finishes: Choose from Fabric Border (NO GLASS, NO WOOD) or Textile Only. Request information about colors and finishes for the fabric border. In any case we DON'T add glass because of the transportation.
