What is shungite? Also known as the miracle stone, or the stone of life, Shungite is only found near the Shunga Village in Karelia, Russia.

There are Three grades of Shungite, the higher carbon content, the purer the shungite. The purest Shungite is up to 98% carbon.

1-Elite or Noble- 98% Carbon (shiny black, cannot be cut in shapes)

2-Black -50-73% carbon (easily shaped and polished), often used for sculptures and jewelry, black in color with a semi to dull luster unless polished

3- Gray or shungite rock- 30-50% carbon, (dull or matte luster)

Shungite the only known element that contains fullerenes, which is a crystalline form of carbon. Peter the First understood the powerful healing and antibacterial properties and even had his soldiers carry a piece of it to purify their water and to use on their wounds.

Shungite has been studied for decades by scientists, but this incredible mineral has just reached the western world. It is no wonder that in Russia this mineral has been used in medicine, ecology, agriculture, water filtration, metallurgy, and in the construction industry.

Shungite provides so many benefits and is the only known natural source of fullerenes on earth, with the expectation of a few METEORITES! Scientists believe fullerenes to be the most powerful antioxidant that shields cells from the effects of free radicals.

Healing properties of Shungite:
