For the first month of actual use, avoid taking the handbag out in wet weather. This should give the fibers sufficient time to become more flexible and therefore less likely to react with water.

I am a returning customer. These bags are beautiful and very well made. I can't imagine that anyone being unhappy with these. This bag is big enough to carry all you need. The bag itself is not heavy which is great because I purchased it to carry a lot so it doesn't get overly heavy for me. It comes with a dust bag as well. It's lovely!
