DO NOT apply vinyl decals to walls painted within the last 4-6 months with “NO VOC”, LOW VOC, “ZERO VOC” or stain blocker paints. As the paint dries, there are compounds that are given off in the fumes, which can get trapped under the vinyl. This can begin a chemical reaction with the adhesive causing bubbling, or the decal to fall off the wall. This is why it's important to wait 6 months, instead of the usually recommended 4-6 weeks. Not sure about the paint on your wall? Request a FREE TEST DECAL before placing an order. PLEASE NOTE: If you have this type of paint and choose to order anyway, there will be NO REFUNDS or REPLACEMENTS for decals that don't stick to the wall since I do offer a free test decal.
