Walks in the woods are relaxing and regenerating: the trees, the light that filters through the branches, the sound of trampled leaves. In the undergrowth there is a hidden universe made up of infinite landscapes made up of mosses, lichens, mushrooms, insects, small wonderful creatures. In the undergrowth everyone works for a single purpose, the health and prosperity of the forest.

So even when I work I like to bring the theme of the undergrowth to my teapots, cups, ceramics. Those little hidden corners among the roots of beech trees, full of life that changes with the seasons but that when you look for them are always the same and never disappoint you.

The cup is made in stoneware, by hand, on the wheel. I then applied the decorations that recall the undergrowth at second time.

The diameter cup is about 10 cm, 10 cm high and its capacity is 450 ml. In practice, it can contain a nice amount of hot tea!

The stoneware is fired in an electric kiln at 1220 ° C.

The glazes are non-toxic and without lead or harmful fluxes.
