Custom sized clad half dollar rings. These rings are 91.67% copper, 8.33% nickel made from half dollars in the time period 1971-2001 (excluding 1975, 1976, and 1987). Bicentennial coins (year 1776-1976) are also available, however they are in a different listing, which can be found in our Centimental Rings shop. Can be custom sized from US sizes 9 - 13. Finish available in polished only. These rings are double coated with a clear finish, so they will not turn your finger green. However, this coating can wear off under heavy usage but can be removed with nail polish remover and replaced with clear nail polish. Makes a beautiful ring and a great gift idea. Custom dates available, as long as they are in the time period 1971-2001. All rings are hand made in our Texas shop.

We use a high quality jewelers clear coating on our clad rings. However, this coating can wear off under heavy usage, hand sanitizers, and some house hold cleaners leaving your finger with a slight discoloration. An easy way to redo this coating if it should come off would be to use nail polish remover (acetone) to take the old coating completely off, then recoat the ring with a couple coats of clear nail polish to protect your finger. This process, however, doesn't apply to our silver rings or stainless steel peso, as those rings don't discolor one's skin. This process also doesn't apply to our powder coated rings due to powder coating being an industrial paint that doesn't come off with hand sanitizers or house hold cleaners.

I received my ring earlier than expected. I ordered the ring while on vacation knowing it would be in my mailbox when I returned. . when I got back its was in my mailbox and was very excited to check it out. I put the ring on and there was a problem with the letters being polished to much and less visible than expected. Contacted the seller and in less than 24 hours they responded and the impression I got was that this was a fluke and they offered to send out a new one asap. Very impressed with their customer service..
