How much/how long will it take for my item to be shipped?

All items will be shipped from Sydney, Australia in a timely manner. The delivery cost for your item/s depends on the weight of your order and the country of shipping. We ship to the address listed on your etsy account, unless you provide a different one. You will be provided with a tracking number. As we only list items already in our current physical inventory, we endeavour to ship items within 2-3 business days. Domestic parcels take about a week, other countries are longer. If the item requires a fast turnaround time on delivery, please contact us promptly before or at the time of purchase to ensure we have adequate time. Please make sure that your delivery address is correct, as we take no responsibility for an incorrect address.

I haven't received my item yet, what do I do?

We ship using Australia Post, and when placing your order, you can choose a variety of shipping time frames. We do not take responsibility for damage or loss due to a shipping mishap, and shipping costs will not be refunded for uncollected items. Once the package has been handed over to Australia Post, we take no responsibility for lost, stolen or delayed shipping/waiting times that may affect the receipt of the package. For recovery of expenses in these circumstances, you will need to make a claim with your local postal service. Delivery time may vary depending on specific customs clearance processes.

Can I change my address?

If you would like us to ship to a different address, please ensure that you contact us promptly before or directly after purchase with the email subject: ‘Change of address - [inset your name]’, so that we have adequate time to update your details and ensure your item/s are sent to the correct address. We do not post to PO Boxes.

Can I get my item/s express posted?

If you want an item with express shipping when it is not offered in the listing, you will need to pay the difference in shipping price. If the item is a gift and requires a fast turnaround time on delivery, please contact us promptly before or at the time of purchase with the email subject: ‘Express Postage - [inset your name]’ to ensure we have adequate time to post it out promptly.

To ensure your item is the correct fit, please compare the listing measurements and your own measurements (as detailed in the listing). If you are unsure about the size or appearance of an item, we will gladly take additional measurements and answer any detailed questions you may have.

This item isn't the *exact* colour I ordered?

Absolutely Frivolous aims to display our products as accurately as possible, however resolution, printing methods and screen settings have the ability to affect how an item is displayed. This means that the accuracy of colours through an online purchase cannot be guaranteed. If you have any questions or problems with your order, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly! We will endeavour to email you back within 48 hours, and would much rather be given the chance to rectify an issue that you may have, rather than receive negative feedback.

I've changed my mind, can I return my item/s?

The creators at Absolutely Frivolous pride ourselves on luxurious designs and quality craftsmanship. Once these have been purchased, all sales are final. Kindly note that we don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations based on change of mind. Absolutely no exceptions will be made, so please choose your purchases carefully. Unfortunately we cannot process international returns and exchanges at this point in time – all international sales are final. In the *rare* case of an approved return for shop credit, registered shipment costs will be the buyer's responsibility both ways. Your item must be returned within 14 days and be in brand new and re-sellable condition.

What if my item is faulty?

If an item is assessed and considered faulty, we will offer a number of solutions. These include: 1) a repair of the product (where possible), 2) a replacement product, or 3) a refund of the original purchase amount. Please be aware that in the case of a refund, these can take up to 5 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

I have provided supporting documentation for an approved return, now what?

In the case that you are able to fulfil all of the return requirements, contact us directly on etsy with the email subject: ‘Returns - [inset your name]’, with your order number, the piece/s you wish to return and why, so that we can reply to your issue promptly. Please ensure that you provide us a return address. You will need to include your return parcel’s article ID, and we recommend taking a picture with your phone and attaching it to the returns email. This must be prepaid and traceable to ensure a safe and documented delivery. Absolutely Frivolous takes no responsibility for missing incoming deliveries of a return. Original shipping charges are non-refundable and charges for the returned item are the responsibility of the customer.

Handmade with love by Amanda, a talented artisan from Australia, using only the highest quality materials, an immense amount of highly advanced technical expertise has gone into finishing every element of their artistic execution. It has taken many years of perfecting technique to get these up to designer status and they really speak for themselves!

These chunky heels are so chic and classy, they would definitely kick any spring dress up a notch!

They would also make *you* the perfect embellishment for any sort of special occasion such as a new years party, birthday party, gala event, photo shoot, cocktail party, formal event, on the red carpet!

The heels themselves are quite high but the hidden platforms and foot cushioning in the lining and middle means that the incline of your instep sits much lower than it actually appears - I'm seriously not kidding, I have been wearing this design for years and can testify to the endless hours of dancing without any pain or mishaps!

Each shoe is made from extremely high quality Italian leather and extremely high quality zipper on the back. The heel itself is faux teal crocodile print genuine, black plastic stiletto, black and cream tribal design, top ankle strap is light teal python, followed by a teal faux crocodile strap with gun metal rivets that makes an x from the heel to the ball of the foot, and in-between is two bands of dyed teal veg tan leather attaching to a side panel of teal and brown npatent striped snakeskin on either side.

The bottom of the shoe has a peep toe thick panel with a brown and light teal design that resembles tooled leather. There are 3 platforms: the first one is padded for comfort, and the second one is made from teal Italian hide, and the bottom one is stacked veg tan leather with black edgesm and whole bottom of the shoe is natural colour veg tan leather with stamp.

The lining is natural veg tan leather with zig zag design around the edges and a 12cm stiletto heel (however 5cm worth of platform is distributed in 3 places on the shoe for comfort).

Dimensions: These are a AU8/US8/EU39 and can accomodate an extra 0.5 shoe size (due to the peep toe). The height of each heel is 118mm/7.4 inches and the height of the three layers of platforms comes to 45mm/1.77 inches, which makes them only 73mm/2.87 inches high! Each shoe weighs 357 grams with a combined weight of 714 grams.

Postage: This purchase comes with postal insurance. For our domestic customers, we can happily offer a postage upgrade from Economy to Express shipping, and for our international customers we will happily offer upgrades from International Standard to International Express and International Courier shipping where possible. Please note: these options do add extra expense.
