Step-by-step instructions manual with plans for beginners. To build a rocking chair was never easier. This is digital download only. I do not send copies. You get detailed instructions in PDF (13 pages). There is also a file with 1×1" grid included (one file is a letter size, the other is for a bigger printer).

Total size of the rocker is 26" x 40" x 42" (width, depth, height). The seat is 15" from ground, 21" wide, 28" tall, 16" deep.

The plans are in inches, but if you need metric system dimensions, you can multiply each dimension by 25.4, and you get it in millimeters.
Lumber dimensions chosen for the project are from US retail stores (The Home Depot and Menards). It means, that if you live outside US, you may need additional carpentry machines like a planer and a table saw because for example, in Europe lumber dimensions are quite different from US. Otherwise, you would have to choose similar dimensions and customize the plans. The plans are intended for beginner woodworkers, not for people who have never made anything by hand!

In order not to have to cut the material longitudinally, the components are designed using standardized profiles commonly available in The Home Depot (or Menards). Fasteners are also used standardized and commonly available in the above hardware stores (or at least in The Home Depot). All dimensions are in inches. If you are not a US resident, you may need to choose a little different fasteners and lumber profiles that you find in your local store.
