Keep jewelry away from children. Handle gently. Avoid exposing it to chlorine and chemical products (hairspray, bleach, etc.). Remove for sleep, bathing, or hard exercise. Store necklaces and bracelets in individual plastic bags to prevent tangles and reduce tarnishing. Don't overstretch elastic jewelry but roll it on and off.

Cleaning depends on the materials:

Stones, crystals, glass: Use water and clean, soft cloths or tissues.
Sterling silver, gold-filled: Use jewelry wipes and polishing cloths, and/or Hagerty's silver polish.
Argentium: Use clean jewelry wipes and soft cloths.
Plated metals/vermeil: Same as sterling and gold-filled, but clean gently to protect the thin finish. Plated items may need replating eventually.

All orders come ready to gift (see listing pic). I am happy to send gifts directly to your recipients. If you'd like a note enclosed, let me know in the "note to seller" box at checkout. I'll make it pretty for you!

We are all different sizes. Please see the measurements in each item's description. If you know (a) the item's size and (b) your own sizing requirements (or your gift recipient's), you can probably avoid the bother of a return.

Please ask about resizing. It's available for many items. If new supplies are needed, there will be a small charge to cover their cost. Resized items are considered custom orders and cannot be returned.

I would be happy to work with you to create a custom piece of jewelry. Start by contacting me and telling me what you are looking for. For original work (i.e., projects more complicated than a simple substitution or alteration), I have a short form to help you think through some of the details. If we agree on the work, price and time-frame, I will set up a listing for you. You will need to purchase your order in full using this listing before any work (including design) is done. Custom orders cannot be returned. Any order that has been resized or otherwise modified/personalized for a customer is considered a custom order.

Packages are shipped via USPS first-class shipping with tracking. Shipping times are never guaranteed. If you need your order by a certain date, please order early, especially during holiday season.

USA: most orders arrive within 8 days.

CANADA: most orders arrive within 10-30 days.

✦ Orders ship after payments clear. Normally this happens within my 1-2 day processing time. Any delays are beyond my control.

✦ An upgrade to Priority Mail Express is available at checkout. This service provides overnight shipping to most addresses, after the processing time.

Please make sure the shipping name and address on your order are correct--especially if you have moved lately or want the item to go somewhere other than the address on your Etsy account. I am not responsible for a lost package if I receive incorrect shipping information. Thank you for your attention to this vital detail!

TWO-WEEK RETURNS: To start a return, contact me for an authorization within 7 days. A purchase can be returned within 2 weeks for full refund so long as it is in its original undamaged condition. EXCEPTION: Custom, altered or resized orders are not returnable as they were made or changed specifically for you.

Buyers pay return postage. Please pack carefully. Insurance is recommended. Keep your receipt with tracking info.

No refund will be given without a return.

Returns are no fun! To avoid them:

- Ask questions before purchasing. If you need more info or want to see more photos, just ask.
- Be mindful of your sizing requirements before purchasing.
- Note item measurements and other details in the listing.

If an item you purchased breaks due to defective workmanship, I will either repair it or refund your purchase up to 6 months after purchase. The item must be returned (at my expense). Contact me before returning the item, and include closeup photos showing the damage or defect as clearly as possible. I reserve the right to judge whether the breakage was due to my workmanship.

Shipping delays are beyond my control, but lost packages can often be found. Let me know of any problem ASAP. If tracking shows your order was delivered, I am not responsible for refunding or replacing it, but I will help you try to find it &/or file a claim with the PO and police. After 4 weeks undelivered orders are eligible for replacement or full refund.

Orders confirmed damaged in transit are eligible for full refund; timetables vary according to insurer. Your help is vital:
-Notify me immediately or within 3 days of receipt with clear photos of item, inner and outer packaging.
-Keep item and all packaging until any claim is resolved. You may need to take them to your PO for inspection or return the item to me at my expense.

Etsy now accepts Klarna payments. Klarna is a layaway service. You'll make a payment agreement with Klarna at checkout; your order will be processed and shipped shortly thereafter.
