Introducing the Six Stitch Cardie pattern! This is the most perfectly oversized, cosiest cardigan made from six basic popular stitches for beginners: Garter, Moss, Stockinette, Reverse stockinette, Rib and Andalusian. The idea is that each panel or stitch can be practiced in one pattern and are all interchangeable to whichever stitch to panel you like. This pattern will be based on the stitches and colours combos I have chosen from garment in the pictures.

This pattern is in English only.

The cardigan is split up into 5 main sections.
The back and two front panels are knitted flat and then the two balloon style sleeves knitted in the round.

Tools:
15mm circular needles with 60cm cable
Tapestry Needle for sewing up at the end
Stitch Marker

Yarn:
1000 (1200, 1400)g We Are Knitters – ‘The Wool’ and Wool and the Gang – ‘Crazy Sexy Wool’ in magic mint, hot punk pink, honey and spotted grey
200g = 80m Super Chunky 4wpi
Or any other super chunky equivalent (check tension swatch if using other yarns) My alternatives are Cygnet seriously chunky / Mayfield’s Mollys chunky

Small – UK 6-8
Medium – UK 8-12
Large – UK 12-18
Model is 5,8 UK 8-10 and wears size Medium
