Amazing and oh-so-soft late 1920s / early 1930s deep purple violet crushed velvet dress.

The shoulders of the dress are gathered providing a draping effect of the velvet around the neckline and bust. It has two ties at the sides so that you can adjust the waist to your perfect fit. Side snap buttons and eye and hook closure to fasten. The sleeves are a beautiful floral violet lace bell sleeves with snap buttons at the cuffs. The dress has a purple lining which has a beige floral lace sewn on the bust area, that way it can peek-a-boo behind the velvet neckline. The edge of the neckline has some small snap buttons suggesting that it used to have some collar or sash originally attached to it. For its age, the dress is in great condition. It is clean and ready to wear. The color is even better in person.

Waist: 27” - 28”tight (or smaller with sewn in belt)

*Please note that this dress is almost 100 years old, I recommend adding room for fit and ease of movement so that you don't add too much strain on the seams.
*For reference my dress form is a US modern size 6. The dress form measures ---Bust - 34.5" / Waist - 25.5" / Hip 35.5"

CONDITION-----

Almost Excellent

No stains and no holes, but a lot of repairs throughout. Largest repairs are on the back and on the front lower part of the skirt (last photo). However, most of these get completely lost in the iridescent nature of the crushed velvet.
