The ORIGINAL....batik prayer flag kit with fabric pen.
In this ancient art, prayers are written on colorful pieces of fabric...when hung outside, our prayers are activated and carried by the wind across the countryside. It is believed that all beings touched by the wind are uplifted and a little happier. "The silent prayers are blessings spoken on the breath of nature".
In my version, batiks in brilliant colors are sewn to sturdy weather-resistant parachute cord and are ready for hanging. A permanent marker (in metallic gold, silver, or bronze) is enclosed in your order for writing your own personalized messages on the flags. When displayed outside, they will eventually weather, symbolizing a welcoming of life's changes.
